In medical-grade acid peels, the most commonly used acids in China are: ① Glycolic Acid, ② Salicylic Acid, and ③ Lactic Acid. Below is a brief introduction to each for your reference.​​1. Glycolic Acid​​Glycolic Acid, a type of Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA).

​Key Characteristics for Peeling:​

  • The AHA with the smallest known molecular size.
  • The preferred choice for AHA peels (high concentrations like 20%, 30%, 50%, 70%).
  • Possesses exceptional penetration ability.
  • Offers excellent exfoliating properties.
  • Helps收敛 and minimize pores (due to strong acidity) and controls sebum production.
